Hi, this is a very good idea. I will add another PostgreSQL specific article comparing running this database natively a in Docker (and with different Docker settings). And I will do few different database settings using pgtune, just to know the answer to "OK, I like to run Postgres in Docker, how much less it will be performant than running it natively, and what can I do about it?"
We are running databases in Docker for about 3 years (ok it is 2021, so this year it will be fourth year) in production on different machines with big databases between 250GB to 1TB and very frequent writes and reads. Without any performance problems or loosing data (knock, knock).
